No, you don’t have to stay the whole month. You can absolutely come for a shorter window — a week, two weeks, or any stretch that fits your schedule. The month is built as an open container: people will be flowing in and out, and you’ll still land in the mix whenever you arrive. That said — the Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony are not to be missed. They bookend the month and bring everyone together — so a nice way to start and end the month ;)

It’s more like a month-long framework — a living calendar of events happening for the month. Expect 50+ events across the island: conferences, dinners, surf classes, yoga sessions, workshops, co-living retreats, and mini-festivals. It’s not one single event; it’s more like an ecosystem or marketplace of events and gatherings bringing people and ideas together through one shared layer.

Once your event’s approved, it’ll appear on the shared calendar for everyone to discover and join. That’s how the full month takes shape — bottom-up, not top-down.

Definitely. Most people will still be working. The month is structured around real life — co-work mornings, open days, and social evenings. You’ll have time to build, call, ship, and still catch sunsets, dinners, and beach sessions without burning out. And all the while, there will be events happening which you can choose to attend, or not.

Floripa’s spread across beaches and districts, but we’ll anchor the experience around a few key zones where most events cluster. Those include Campeche, Lagoa, Jurere and Beiramar. Once you’re confirmed, you’ll get neighborhood guides and housing tips so you can stay close to the action. You’re free to stay anywhere, but being near the core makes things easier — and way more spontaneous.

Floripa (Florianópolis) is one of Brazil’s safest and most livable spots — a mix of surf town and tech hub. The areas we’ll be centered around are friendly, walkable, and filled with locals, nomads, and expats. It’s definitely a place where you can relax and move freely.

That depends on your passport. Many countries have visa-free entry for up to 90 days; others need to apply in advance (including US citizens). Just make sure your passport’s valid for at least six months and check your country’s latest entry rules before booking flights. We’ll share reminders and links to official resources so you’re covered.

Grab the à la carte ticket to unlock the full event calendar. You'll see every workshop, dinner, and festival -- free or paid -- and can pick and choose exactly what you want to join. Pay as you go. Each option gets you into the ecosystem -- it just depends how much of the month you want to experience.
